XAP at the 2018 Midwest Multifamily Conference
XAP 360™ joined Indianapolis based Universal Roofing™, a certified XAP provider, at the 2018 Midwest Multifamily Conference (MMC) on Tuesday, October 9th. The MMC is for apartment professionals who want to get ahead. Leasing professionals, regional supervisors, property owners/managers, and maintenance professionals were MMC presented amazing content to help push careers to the next level. The Universal/XAP booth was on hand to present the latest in asset management PropTech, the XAP Assurance Program.
“The response to our program was phenomenal!”, says Phil Pratt, XAP 360 co-founder. “Folks lined up to see the drone and got excited about the whole platform.”
“We were fortunate enough to listen in on some of the presentations going on as well.”
The schedule for the day was chalked full of courses that even gave our crew a few fresh perspectives and showed us again how powerful our platform is as a tool for its clients. Some of the highlights enjoyed were:
- The Value of Maintenance to Marketing and Resident Retention – by Kathleen Harmon
She went over various studies that found that renters consider the quality of maintenance a major factor in making the decision to initially rent and subsequently renew their leases. We may have known this to be true but getting the fact-based truth was fantastic! We tell XAP clients that the better maintenance service their apartment community has, the more likely they will obtain and retain valuable residents. The XAP program is the perfect fit for those looking to keep their properties attractive and safe.
- Productivity Powerhouse - 7 Hacks to Accomplishing More, in Less Time – by Marla Posey
We will not showcase Marla’s tips but her “hacks” also line up with what the XAP model provides by placing a lot of weight on the vendor to produce data and take care of immediate threats. Marla also gave another talk, Let's Talk Trends - Tech + Advertising + Marketing, which again spoke to the importance of taking on new technologies to stay competitive.
- Emerging Trends in Affordable Housing – by Kathleen Harmon
Again, not to give away her information to the public but Kathleen’s ideas and data driven examples were eye opening. She presented some eye-opening trends that impact the affordable housing industry today and into the future. She focused on changing populations, their needs, and the skills required for successful management. This was great info to keep XAP 360 mindful of pointers when talking to this segment of potential clients.
It was a fantastic event and we look forward to more like it!
